In the current global crisis, we’re all facing a lot of uncertainty. With constant news updates, endless social media posts, and recommended social distancing, our collective anxiety levels are high. Now, more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves and our communities.

In times of crisis, pleasure is often overlooked. But we can’t let ourselves forget to feel alive in the midst of struggle. At its core, pleasure is an opportunity to check in with yourself, a way to self-soothe, and a reminder that you are worthy of joy.

Dipsea has proven to be a source of solace, escape, and eroticism for many in the last several days: since the beginning of March, daily signups have more than doubled. The majority of this spike in traffic has come from New York and California, states where most public spaces have already been closed. We only expect this trend to grow.

As a company whose mission is to empower people to access their sexuality more easily and on their terms, we believe we have an important responsibility to help our greater community during these difficult times.

From now until April 30th, anyone can access all of the Wellness and How-To content on our iOS app, Android app, or web app for free. While Dipsea is best known for its sexy stories, our library of Wellness and How-To content is designed to help people develop their pleasure and self care practices. In these sessions, we cover everything from edging to meditation, from dirty talk to breathwork—so you’ll have plenty to explore over the next six weeks.

Need to unwind after a long day of work calls? Transition into a relaxing evening with “Sensual Recentering." Looking for some new self care ideas? Get to know yourself with “Self Love Languages.” Want to spend quality time with your partner in a meaningful way? Try one of our “Partner Pleasure” sessions. Are you stuck far from your person because of travel restrictions? Binge the “12 Questions” series to help you stay connected.

With focus, intention, and the right resources, we can all use this time to turn inward, to learn how to love ourselves deeply and compassionately. Remember, we’re all in this together.

With love, The Dipsea Team
